Tristate Team Trios - Team Entry

Join us for our First Team Trios event sponsored by friend of the shop Nicholas Raupp! Formats are Standard, Modern, and Premodern. ONLY TEAM CAPTAINS SHOULD REGISTER (one player registers for the entire team.). This event will be maximum 22 teams.

How do Team Trios events work?

- In team Trios events you and two other friends will bring your favorite Standard, Modern, and premodern deck and compete in a Swiss tournament for fun prizes! 
- Each player will choose one of the three formats and will play 1 deck from that format for the duration of the tournament. Players will have specific seating and will sit in a specific order every round. This seating will be explained at the event.
- Teammates are allowed to communicate with each other during their games.
- Each team member will play separate best of 3 match against their opponent. 
- The team’s score will be best of 3 matches. Example: If two players on your team have won their matches then you may end the round and submit your winning score. If two players have submitted their scores and one team member has won and one team member has lost then you will have to wait until the result of the final match to submit scores.
- Teammates are not allowed to stand up from the table and continue to play. If a team member stands up they must leave the table and end all communication with team mates until the conclusion of the match.

Deck construction and format rules will follow all normal rules for standard, modern, and premodern.

Prizes for this event will be format staple cards for each event represented format. Exact prizes to be announced as we approach the event date.
