The Battlefields series has been made to give unlimited options to the wargamer, when he/she decides on what type of bases the miniatures should have.
The Essential series from The Army Painter is a great foundation for Miniature bases, with choices like gravel, rocks, snow, moss, ash, and static grass. All you need to do is add glue onto the base of the finished model and then give it a quick drybrush - done! No need to waste time painting it over - The Army Painter has already done that for you!
Each container measures ~2.75" wide x ~2.75" wide x 1.60" tal (with the flock filling about 1" of that height).
